Why do I need an electric smart meter?

Did you know if you’re considering purchasing a solar system for your home, or are in the process of getting one, you need to also have installed an analogue electric smart meter.

Why?

Because - WITHOUT ONE - you will be charged for the solar energy you produce AND the power you consume from the grid.

So we can help with this, and replace old wiring* - if required - and update your switchboard so it will be compatible with your new smart meter.

* old wiring means you will not be able to install a smart meter.
